I have always liked to refurbish and repair broken or damaged items.
I remember myself as a small child, taking old tools from my father's toolbox, taking things apart and putting them back together. On one occasion I took apart our old tube television at home and intuitively fixed the problem of paint smearing on the screen, and on another occasion I precisely glued the porcelain cup that I broke,
which my mother loved so much.
This love made me research and delve deeper into the world of innovation and preservation.
I started my journey more than 20 years ago by refurbishing old art objects and furniture.
Over the years, I worked as an assistant (apprentice) for seasoned professionals experienced in ancient crafts, from whom I acquired my extensive knowledge and experience. Over time I also discovered other worlds such as the field of wiker furniture and rattan repairs, refurbishing old radios, renewing antique sewing machines and repairing vintage toys.
As a restoration craftsman who appreciates the meaning of each and every item and knows that each of them tells its own story,
It is important for me to continue to learn and develop in the field all the time and to specialize in more and more materials and work methods.
Today I combine the experience, knowledge and methods I acquired in the various restoration works with my love for art.
Every time I receive a new object for renovation, I first get excited about it for several days and manage to see in my imagination how it will look at the end of the restoration process. I treat each item with respect and sensitivity, do research on its history and materials and carefully plan the course of work on it.
It is important for me to be attentive to the client's wishes and to understand the sentimental value of the object for him, and only after collecting the information, examining the small details and planning the process in depth do I start the restoration work.
If you are debating about refurbishing vintage and collectible items, renewing art objects,
Repairing wiker chairs and rattan furniture or old furniture that is just gathering dust in the warehouse,
Contact me and I will be happy to match you with a high-quality and creative solution for your item.
